Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses the Vitomedia service. It exists to keep the service safe and lawful.

1. Your content. You are responsible for every video you send for processing, and you confirm that you own it or otherwise hold the rights needed to have it transcribed, translated, and captioned.

2. Prohibited content. You must not send content that is illegal, that infringes someone else's intellectual property, that exploits or endangers minors, that contains malware, or that is otherwise unlawful.

3. Content you do not own. The service is for your own material. You must not use it to caption, transcribe, or translate films, television, music, live broadcasts, or any other work you do not hold the rights to, and you must not use it to produce or assist the distribution of unauthorized copies of someone else's work.

4. How videos reach the service. The service accepts a video file you choose from your own device. It does not download, capture, or accept media from any streaming platform, website, or link, and it must not be used as part of any workflow that does.

5. Prohibited conduct. You must not use the service to break the law, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other accounts, to disrupt the service, to circumvent balance limits, or to resell or share access in a way your pack does not allow.

6. Reporting abuse. If you believe the service is being used in a way that infringes your rights or breaks this policy, contact us with details. We review reports and act where appropriate.

7. Enforcement. We may refuse processing, remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy or applicable law, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.
